Tadeo said student success remains his top priority. He considers commencement ceremonies one of the most meaningful moments of his career, as they represent students reaching their goals.

The Donald C. Roush Excellence in Teaching Award was established by New Mexico State University in 1984 by the Academic Deans’ Council to honor Roush, a former executive vice president, for his commitment to teaching. The award is based on evaluations from students, department heads, deans and branch campus directors.
