LAS CRUCES - Doña Ana Community College will host an opening reception for a new exhibit at the President’s Gallery featuring the work of regional artist and muralist Celina Corral Arreola.

The reception will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 17 at DACC’s East Mesa campus, 2800 Sonoma Ranch Blvd., inside the DAEM building. The event is free and open to the public.

Corral Arreola’s work focuses on themes of eco-justice, exploring environmental and social issues through large-scale mural work and other mediums.

The opening reception will include a chance to meet the artist, along with complimentary food and drinks.
