LAS CRUCES - The Las Cruces Public Libraries will host a Spy Movie Marathon on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, at the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave. The event, part of the library’s First Saturday Movie Marathon series, will take place in the Kiva Room on the first floor.

The marathon begins at 11 a.m. with a 1962 film starring Sean Connery, rated PG. At 1 p.m., the series continues with a film based on a television show starring Tom Cruise, followed by a 3 p.m. screening of a movie adapted from Robert Ludlum’s book series. The latter two films are rated PG-13.

The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are welcome to bring light snacks. Movie titles are available on the library’s calendar of events.

The First Saturday Movie Marathon series continues in the coming months with different themes:

  • Feb. 1: Romantic dance movies in celebration of Valentine’s Day.
  • March 1: A lineup of 1980s films.
  • April 5: Movies to mark the start of baseball season.
