Las Cruces Public Schools to delay start by two hours on Thursday

LAS CRUCES - Las Cruces Public Schools will delay the start of all classes by two hours on Thursday, Jan. 9, due to inclement weather. Bus schedules will also be adjusted to accommodate the delay.

District officials have been in communication with the National Weather Service in Santa Teresa and will continue to monitor conditions overnight.

Parents and staff are advised to check official LCPS communication channels for updates, including the district's website, social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and X), and the LCPS smartphone app.
