LAS CRUCES - The New Mexico State University Office of Experiential Learning will host the 20th annual Career Connections Fair Feb. 4-5, 2025. The event is open to NMSU students, alumni and community members. This highly anticipated two-day event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Corbett Center Student Union in the third-floor ballrooms.
Career Connections is the second-largest career fair of the academic year and provides a premier opportunity for job seekers and employers to connect. Representatives from organizations across the United States, including fair sponsors HF Sinclair, will attend to recruit for internships, co-op opportunities and full-time positions.
“This event marks the beginning of the spring recruitment season and offers recent and upcoming graduates a platform to connect with employers from various industries,” said Patricia Leyba, Office of Experiential Learning director. “We hope NMSU students take full advantage of these incredible career opportunities.”
The fair is open to all majors on both days, and attendees are encouraged to participate in both sessions. To maximize the experience, students and community members are encouraged to review the list of participating employers in Handshake, accessible via the OEL website at oel.nmsu.edu or through My.NMSU; prepare professionally, including dressing in business attire and bringing updated copies of their resumes; and leverage resources such as resume reviews and interview preparation offered by the Office of Experiential Learning and the Student Success Center.
Leading up to the fair, attendees can explore on-campus and virtual employer-hosted events listed on Handshake.
