Many resorts across New Mexico are gearing up for the winter ski and snowboarding season. For those looking forward to hitting the slopes, here's a list of anticipated opening dates at some of the state's most popular ski and snowboarding destinations, according to the New Mexico Outdoor Recreation Division: 

• Sipapu Ski Resort – Nov. 22
• Ski Santa Fe -Nov. 23 
• Red River - Nov. 27 
• Taos Ski Valley - Nov. 28 
• Ski Apache - Nov. 30 
• Angel Fire Resort - Dec. 13 
• Enchanted Forest Ski Area - Dec. 20 
• Sandia Peak Ski Area – Dec. 28
