LAS CRUCES - This Giving Tuesday, Doña Ana Community College is encouraging local residents to make a difference by supporting Comfort Casita, the college’s food pantry that assists students facing financial hardships.

Comfort Casita provides students with access to food and essential household items, aiming to reduce the stress associated with economic challenges and support academic success.

Giving Tuesday, a global movement that promotes generosity and doing good, will take place on Dec. 3. Community members can join the cause by making tax-deductible donations to the Comfort Casita food pantry.

How to Donate:

  • Visit nmsufoundation.org/givenow/web-givingtuesday.
  • Select "Make Your Gift Early."
  • Choose your donation amount.
  • Under "Designation," select "DACC Comfort Casita."
    • If not listed, select "Other" and type "DACC Comfort Casita" or another designation. Please include "DACC" in the entry.
  • Provide your contact information and choose your payment method.

Donations by check are also welcome. Checks should be made payable to NMSU Foundation, with the fund name written in the memo line. Mail checks to:
